November Rain
Living in southern California we get spoiled by the endless sunny days and lack of real rain or seasonal weather. So when we do get rain, it feels great. This November morning after a break in the rain I stepped out into the yard and captured a few photographs of water drops on our trees, plants, and vegetables. A few of them turned out decent enough to use as wallpapers.

Turning 42
This week on September 20th of 2012, I turned 42 years old. As my brother Antero the astrologer says, I’ve completed another lap around the Sun. I take a moment to reflect upon the last year and share my thoughts.
Angeles Sunset
As the sun was setting I had to pull over to capture the majestic beauty of it. The skys were clear as the sun was creating a glowing red skyline contrasted by the darkness of the mountain ridges in front of us. It make for a a classic sunset.
Dead Can Dance Concert
Last night I was able to experience an fairly rare concert by one of my favorite artists, Dead Can Dance. A unique transcending aural experience that can penetrate deep into your heart and soul to fill it with mesmerizing warmth.
Duran Duran Concert
Duran Duran was one of the biggest brit-pop bands from the 80’s and 90’s that dominated the MTV air waves and Billboard charts. While I’ve never been a big fan of the band, they do have several classic hit songs that helped define pop music in those decades.
Max Payne 3
Gotta hand it to Rockstar, after so many years since the original Max Payne game they go out and bring the game back to life in a full on reboot. I have to admit, at first I wasn’t sure that they were going to pull it off, but after completing the game, impressively enough, they pulled it off and knocked it out of the park.
