Last weekend was the annual Golf & Games Weekend at Hauli Huvila. The sunsets there are always beautiful, but they often turn out amazing when you’ve got some clouds in the sky. On Saturday we had some nice clouds and it made for a beautiful sunset.

Living in southern California we get spoiled by the endless sunny days and lack of real rain or seasonal weather. So when we do get rain, it feels great. This November morning after a break in the rain I stepped out into the yard and captured a few photographs of water drops on our trees, plants, and vegetables. A few of them turned out decent enough to use as wallpapers.
To celebrate the rare blue moon occurrence that happened this August I went out to photograph the full blue moon. My first attempt at photographing the moon turned out pretty good, so to honor the blue moon celebration I’ve made a wallpaper available to download.
As the sun was setting I had to pull over to capture the majestic beauty of it. The skys were clear as the sun was creating a glowing red skyline contrasted by the darkness of the mountain ridges in front of us. It make for a a classic sunset.
